PhD Candidate, Cornell University Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology
I am a disease biologist interested in the ecology and evolution of disease and immune systems. My dissertation research focuses on co-infection and environmental determinants of disease in corals. I'm currently a PhD candidate in Drew Harvell’s lab at Cornell University.
Check out the Harvell lab website and blog for posts on my past field seasons in Puerto Rico and follow me on twitter: @amtracy8
Before coming to Cornell, I worked on eco-immunology and disease susceptibility in lobsters and cattle. In addition to my research on corals, I have also worked on disease in sea stars and eelgrass during graduate school. I am interested in understanding complex disease dynamics in many different systems.
